This past Saturday, our office had the chance to partner with NW Furniture Bank for a community furniture drive—and wow, what an amazing turnout it was!
The Furniture Bank showed up with a truck and two hardworking guys who couldn’t have been better. They made it easy for everyone who drove up to donate, loading furniture, appliances, linens, and other household items. Within the first hour, the truck was nearly full. They actually had to leave, unload, and come back just to keep up with the donations.
The best part? Everyone who dropped something off left with a smile. Some were downsizing, some were moving or selling, and others were just happy to clear out space at home. And NW Furniture Bank was just as excited—grateful to receive everything from everyday items to some really high-end pieces that will go directly to families who need them.
One of the wildest moments was when a couple even hired a moving company just to bring their items to the truck to donate. That level of generosity was incredible to see.
By the end of the day, we’d filled about one and a half truckloads of furniture and household items. It was awesome to watch our community come together, and even better knowing it all went to such a great cause.
