As we start a new year, I always like to pause for a moment and reflect on the year behind us. One thing that stands out more than anything else is how fortunate I am to receive referrals from friends, family, past clients, and even other real estate agents.
Referrals are incredibly meaningful. They aren’t just leads or introductions — they’re a sign of trust. When someone refers a friend, family member, or colleague, they’re putting their own reputation behind that recommendation. That’s something I never take lightly.
This past year, I had the honor of helping clients who were referred to me by a variety of people in my life — friends, family friends, past clients, and fellow real estate professionals. Each referral reminded me how connected this business truly is and how often great people tend to know other great people.
One type of referral that sometimes surprises people is an agent-to-agent referral. While it might sound unusual, it happens more often than you’d think. When an agent has a client moving out of the area — whether it’s across the state or across the country — they often look for an agent they know and trust to take great care of that client. I’m grateful to be someone other agents feel confident referring their clients to.
The same goes the other way. If someone I know is moving to an area I don’t personally serve, I’m always happy to help connect them with a knowledgeable, reliable agent who understands that local market. Having a trusted professional on the other end can make a huge difference during a move.
As we head into 2026, I want to say thank you to everyone who has trusted me with their referrals, support, and conversations — whether we worked together this year or are still planning for the future. Your confidence means more to me than you know.
Here’s to a new year filled with great connections, new opportunities, and meaningful relationships. Happy New Year — and here’s to making 2026 an amazing one.
